A lot of people don't like all the plastic. We trained with M14 in basic and AIT in my Army days (about a 100 years ago, lol). Long first stage (probably rotating the clip) then a heavy but smooth second stage. Trigger pull is a bit heavy but controllable. It has an 8 shot circular clip at each end of the drop out mag. Got one (M14) on sale for $62 Sportsmanguide - usually $71. I'll bet I could shoot it full auto, but I have no sense whatsoever, so. They thought that full auto was too much for that rifle. Just to be clear, if it's semi auto, it's an M-1A, not an M-14. I'm not sure I would trust anything made by Winchester after 1964!īesides, the M-1A is a better looking rifle any day of the week. I guess the JimC HPA adapter would be compatible with both rifles then, nice !Īnyone end up buying one of these yet? I'm still thinking about it.

The Winchester M14 CO2 Air Rifle is pretty much the same as the MP4 as well, just sporting a different look. But I'm guessing it uses a long rotating-belt-mag like the cx4 storm?
Be interesting to see if the Steel Force mag fits. I just got an email from a Canadian source and I gotta wait till the RCMP classifies the rifle before its approved for sale in Canada. Hey Cam how are ya, Yeah the blue prints show the same mag design as the steel force as far as I can tell, the blue print is rather small but it looks very similar ! JimC's HPA adapter for the Umarex Steel Storm may work on it. We will be able to convert it to HPA easily though. It's semi-auto action I do not believe can be converted to full auto due to the mag design, unfortunately. Looks like the best pellet/bb rifle of the type yet offered. I just got a pre-order notification from Pyramid Air yesterday also. Now to find a Canadian source or American willing to ship it over, I have my PAL card so no problems on that end! Anyone else goanna jump on the wagon lol ?
